Since 2014 we've carefully crafted experiences which regularly stop you in your tracks and leave you feeling privileged to have explored this unique region—before it falls completely into the clutches of modernisation.

We combine a challenging and spectacular cycling route with a selection of the most rewarding cultural and natural sites.

Push yourself to ride up some of the highest sealed roads in the world, then grin from ear-to-ear as you fly down the other side of a 5000m pass. You'll leave with not only an amazing 9-days of high-altitude cycling in your legs, but a new understanding of one of the most incredible cultures on earth.

Fantastic trip through tibet

June 20, 2025

Well organised and well looked after throughout the trip. Cycling legs were challenging but not overwhelming. Scenery is fantastic. We were given plenty of information about how to prepare and what to bring. Permits were arranged and travel from Chengdu all organised. The hotels and eateries were all comfortable and clean even in small towns. Everyone was good company and we had a great time. The bikes were all well maintained throughout the trip. I definitely recommend the trip to anyone who can cycle for 5 hours in a day and cover 100km with 1000m climbing.

Once in a lifetime experience

Cycling at high altitude, in the most mystical Tibet, surrounded by only bigger and taller mountains, with climax at Mt. Everest base camp. A journey I will never forget.

Pedals, Peaks, and Purpose: The Serk Tibet Experience

May 23, 2025

The Serk Tibet trip was a once-in-a-lifetime adventure — physically demanding, emotionally grounding, and visually overwhelming. From battling headwinds at 5,000 meters to sipping noodle soup with Everest in view, every day brought a new challenge and reward. The support from the entire Serk team was exceptional — from Stephen’s care, Phurbus culture insights., Chi’s roadside miracles to Pu Yan’s soul-warming food. The landscapes, the culture, the team spirit — it all left a deep impression.

Experience of a lifetime

September 27, 2024

This is a one in a lifetime experience.

The roads, the scenic views, the people, the culture,... If you are looking to combine good riding with an fabulous trip, this is it.

And the organization by Serk is top notch: the routes, the support, the staff, hotels and restaurants, everything is done right. You feel a bit like a pro tour rider with just one thing you need to care about: riding.

I have thought about doing this for years before I finally pulled the trigger and it was the best decision I made!
