The riding season is now well under way and unfortunately we have already heard about a few serious accidents amongst the community. The roads around China are getting busier and more dangerous with the increases in car and especially motorbike traffic.

We are partnering up with Serk to organise the printing of ID bands which you can wear on your wrist while you cycle or even when you are running or walking.
In the case you have an accident and cannot function normally the band provides emergency details which could be a lifesaver - especially as a foreigner with limited Chinese.

You need to prepay and we will ship to you once bands have arrived (estimated shipping time is 3 weeks after min quantity order is reached).

Each band has your personal details on it. Bands are made from a nylon material which is very breathable and comfortable to wear. The details are engraved on a stainless steel plate for durability. There will also be a RNCC laser engraved logo!

What you print on each line is up to you. See the image below for a sample of what we suggest you print.

The 6th line is blank and up to you. You can write your own text in there.

In the past we have also suggested listing blood type. Hospitals will check your blood type before any procedure so this is not so necessary unless you are O- type which is rare in China (listing this could give advance warning to hospital). It has also been suggested to write any allergies and medications in Chinese which might be difficult to translate in an emergency. It’s also important to have your insurance policy number listed so that insurance companies can be contacted ASAP.
