Waiver

Departure Time : 07.00 Serk.  Arrive at 06.45 am to load bikes
Return Time : 14:30 – 16:00 Serk
1. Beginner – 54km 1066m Climbing
Only 54km long but some pretty serious climbs. Good scenery – tick ! Quiet roads – tick ! Some pain and suffering on the climb – tick !  A smile on your face as you finish – absolutely !
If you are worried that this ride will be too tough for you then just ride to the top of the first climb and turn back the way you came. That reduces the ride to 40km and about 700m of climbing !

 Ride leader : Liman
Average Speed : 15 km/h – 20 km/h
This ride is recommended for all new beginner riders. If you find the pace too slow next week you can move to the Intermediate Group. Its much better to start out on the easier ride and then move up rather than start on the faster ride and find yourself getting dropped and left behind.

2. Intermediate : 87km 1661m Climbing
The Intermediate ride is also tough but on a glorious loop so don’t let the climbs worry you – the scenery well and truly makes up for any pain in the legs. 5 climbs in total – 1 mega 25km climb and then a bunch of smaller ones !
Ride leader : TBC
Average Speed : 20 km/h – 25 km/h
This ride is recommended for all Intermediate riders. If you find the pace too slow next week you can move to the Elite Group. Its much better to start out on the easier ride and then move up rather than start on the faster ride and find yourself getting dropped and left behind.

3. Elite – 132km  2690m Climbing
This is going to hurt. 7 climbs in total. Some could technically be classed as humps. Regardless it will be hard and you are welcome to curse us on the way up. It’s a gorgeous course so all the pain will be forgotten by the time you’ve uploaded your photos to Moments. There is an optional 7km climb and descent (14km total) at the 66km point. If you are up for it turn left up the climb. First rider to the top wins a prize.
Ride leader : Shannon
Average Speed : 25 km/h – 30 km/h
This ride is recommended for all Elite riders only. The pace will be pretty fast and on the flat parts of the course we will ride together as a bunch so the km pass quickly. The group will wait at the top of the climbs and regroup for the descents. If you are not sure of your fitness or endurance then please do not join this group. Instead go with the intermediate group and as your fitness improves later in the season join the Elite ride group.
