3 Parallel Rivers Yunnan

Home to three major rivers that drain the eastern Tibetan Plateau the area combines mountains and deep valleys providing dramatic landscapes.

Winter Xi Shuang Bana Escape

Our newest route in the less explored western area of Yunnan along the border with Burma. The area is part of the formidable Henduan mountain range at the eastern end of the Himalaya and is UNESCO World Heritage listed. Home to three major rivers that drain the eastern Tibetan Plateau (the Yangtze, Mekong and Salween) the area combines mountains with peaks over 6000m and deep valleys providing dramatic landscapes. Home to thousands of rare plants and animals living alongside precious ethnic minority groups the area provides a rich cultural and natural experience.

North Korea – Road Cycling Trip

Delayed due to COVID. For the first time ever, Koryo Tours and Serk has negotiated access for a group of foreign cyclists to ride through North Korea. For the inaugural Pyongyang Randonnée in 2022, we will ride south from Pyongyang to Kaesong (near the border with South Korea), test our legs on Dragon Mountain outside the capital, and then fly up to cycle the remote mountain roads and up to the crater edge of the fabled Mt Paektu in the far north- the highest point on the peninsula.

Kham Himalaya Sichuan

The Kham region spans the Tibetan Autonomous Region and Sichuan Province and is one of China’s gems. The roads are flowing, the variety of scenery from start to finish is diverse and views and vistas of the Himalaya are jaw dropping.
