Beijing Vintage Ride

Serk are the co-founders of the Beijing Vintage Ride (together with 700bike.com). The vintage ride was founded in 2013 and was the first vintage ride in a major mainland city.

The Beijing Vintage Bike Ride was inspired by the London Tweed run which was founded in 2009. The concept is simple; riders dress up in traditional British cycling attire and ride through the city. A celebration of the simple life, the elegance of traveling by bicycle and vintage fashion.

Beijing Bike Week

MARCH 2012. Serk organised Beijing’s first Bike Week. The event took place in a brand mall in Jinbao Street from March 15th – 18th. There was an exhibition of some high end bikes – including a replica version of Cadel Evans’ Tour de France winning BMC bike. They was also bike films, fixed gear events and an rare bicycle show.

MeWe Bicycle Festival

SERK co-organized the MeWe Bicycle Festival in Beijing in 2013. Vintage bikes, urban cycling, JISU PK and Cycling movies.

JISU PK

Serk introduced JISU PK to China in 2011.
JISU PK is indoor fun on a bike.
2 competitors. 2 stationary bikes and 30 seconds of furious pedalling. Race progress is projected on a big screen and first one to the post is the winner ! Race your friends, race a stranger, and you even race your grandma (but we advise giving her a headstart !)

Panda Corner

Panda Corner was instigated during the 2013 Tour of Beijing. The fan event was designed to encourage local fan engagement with the race, generate media attention in both local and international press and of course have lots of fun !
